What Is Jelly?
Want to work at home but not from your own home? Want to spend some time with other people who work at home? Want to collaborate with others who do the same type of work or something totally different?
That’s Jelly in a nutshell. Jelly began in 2006 when two people who worked from home wanted to get together with other people not only out of boredom but to get their creative juices flowing. Invitations went out and people came. The small group began to meet regularly. There were people who telecommuted, freelancers, entrepreneurs, small business owners and even musicians.
Jelly has grown in the US. There are meet ups in large cities like NYC, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Check out the cities that have Jelly work events like Chicago, Philadelphia and Tulsa. Jelly is expanding to Canada, Australia and Singapore.
You can even start you events. All you need is a place to meet, chairs and the directions from this website. Think about it. If you have an online store and need some design help you may meet someone to do it at a Jelly meet up. You can barter your services, talk about your ideas, get advice from web gurus, teach someone a skill you know, learn something new and have some fun at the same time.
