Instead of wondering if you should work at home, why not just do it? Don’t quit your job if you already have one of course, but if you have time for a part time job, or if you are a stay at home parent, or if you don’t have a job, what’s holding you back from trying blogging?

Blogging costs nothing to begin. You can get a blog set up for free on Blogger.com . Think of a subject that you’d like to write about, a title and subtitle, do some keyword research and get your blog started. To get help with any of these steps you can join the Advisory Panel which is a forum to help new and more advanced bloggers as well as other people who want to earn money online. This membership is free also.

Get into the habit of writing every day. Read other blogs and leave comments. Then join free blog directories like Blog Catalog and My Blog Log . Once you begin to write and leave comments you should begin to get comments and traffic to your blog.

After you’ve been blogging for a while, at least 30 days (I’d suggest longer) you can then submit your blog to companies that pay you to write reviews about products, websites, stores, etc. There are a lot of companies that pay bloggers. Another company is Sponsored Reviews. Here you bid on blogging work from advertisers.

There are many other companies that you can join. Take it slow and don’t only write paid reviews. Your blog is your own so you can pick and choose what work you want to take.

This is a very quick review of paid blogging. By joining the Advisory Panel, learning from other bloggers, and reading blogs you’ll learn the more in depth work that is involved. You won’t earn any money though by considering it or by doing nothing.
