Creative Ways to Promote Your Business
When thinking of ways to promote your business, you are probably thinking of the same old everyday ways. Try thinking on the more creative side and consider something other than you’re average business card like pens or T-shirts.
Two fine examples of success with T-shirts, are Darren with his Problogger shirts and Gyutae from Winning the Web. In fact, Gyutae recently showed off his latest marketing strategy, which involves a group of blue.
Maybe you’re just not quite ready for the clothing line. How about a pen? Everyone likes a nice pen and there’s always a need for one. Just slap your business logo and info on one and pass them around!
Try not to be a stiff, have a little fun and promote your business with a little creative thinking.
Other creative ways worth a mention include:
- a flashy business card
- other cool branded items such as coffee cups, mouse pads, etc.
- create your own bookmarks and give away for free at the library.
- Use your vehicle as a marketing tool!
- How about a radio advertisement??!! Call your local station to set it up.
- Slap your logo & 411 on your checks, whether they be personal or for business.
- Get a stamp made with your logo and url and stamp all your outgoing mail.
- Be a sponsor
- And if you’re truly desperate, stand on the corner with a sign and balloons!..LOL

I love the T-shirt design, Lori! We’ll have to put that up on Cafe Press so I can order one.
LOL….It does look pretty good considering I made it up in about 2 minutes at midnight!
Thats quite new way to advertise the site. I have known some people advertising in this fashion which they say works quite well.
These are all great ideas. I think the T shirt one would be very useful as would pens. It seems everyone is always looking for a pen.
Those are some really good ideas. I really like the one about the library bookmarks. That is pure genius!
