Going to Work on the World Wide Web
When I head out to go to work, I hit the longest highway in the world. It’s the information super highway known as the World Wide Web. For almost ten years now, I have made my living working on the Internet in some capacity. Mostly I get paid to write, but I’ve also worked as a web producer, a forum moderator, a search engine feeder (yeah, that was a weird one) and domainer! The one thing they all shared — I didn’t have to leave the house to do them.
There are hundreds of different kinds of jobs on the Internet for those who want to work from home. But there are also thousands of people after those jobs. Everyone thinks it would be a dream to cut out the commute, but working at home can be a tough and lonely gig. You have to be self-motivated and you have to be willing to work harder than your 9 to 5 counterparts.
So how do you find these jobs and what are they? What does a web producer or a forum moderator do? And did you know that you could get paid to post comments on blogs?
The answers to these and many more questions will be answered right here on DoWAHdiddy.org. Subscribe to the blog. Read the posts, learn something, then head out and conquer the web. The only thing I ask in return is that you let me know when you find your niche so we can all celebrate together.
